Mario Kart 8 always looks nice. Yes. But not impressive. Now don't mix design and artstyle with technical stuff. Where's real environment mapping or example? Even Neo Bowser City seems to use a simple texture trick and no environment mapping.

MK8 uses nice lighting and post processing effects. It still is simple in many ways. Now that isn't a bad thing for comic fun racers.

I dont care about the technical stuff and co. I just care about how it looks - if i like it or not^^
