You know there's a report button for the post you made? In the report page, you post a description of what is wrong with OP and press the submit button. If you made a bad report, press the button again and correct yourself if need be.

No, thanks. I'd rather point out the issues with the thread so that OP can have a chance to improve things if he wishes to do so, instead of reporting it and having a mod ignore it or getting to it hours later.
