I'm 30 and I'd take the PS2 over the SNES and Genesis combined. I can not even fathom how any other system can objectively be placed higher and I grew up on the Atari 2600 and NES. No nostalgia whatsoever, it's purely the quality of the PS2's library.

I'd take an SNES any day of the week over the PS2. It has so many good games, including many of my all-time favorites. It had, in chronological order:

Super Mario World
F-Zero
Gradius III
Pilotwings
Sim City
Final Fight
Super R-Type
UN Squadron
Actraiser
Final Fantasy IV
Super Ghouls & Ghosts
Super Castlevania IV
Super Adventure Island
Contra III
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Super Star Wars
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Street Fighter II
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
Super Mario Kart
Star Fox
Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
Super Mario All-Stars
Mega Man X
Super Metroid
R-Type III
Mortal Kombat II
Super Punch-Out!!
Final Fantasy VI
Donkey Kong Country
Mega Man X2
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Killer Instinct
Mega Man 7
Mortal Kombat 3
DKC2
Mega Man X3
Super Mario RPG
DKC3

And those are just games I actually got to play. Meanwhile, as I said before, I had a hard really getting into most of those older 3D games. I had fewer N64 games than I did SNES games, I had only a few PS1 games, and I had very few sixth-gen games overall.

I'm already well aware of the SNES's library of games (hence why I listed it as my #2 console of all time) and I stand by my statement. I can not understand how anybody can dismiss the PS2 like you did. I enjoyed my PS2 above every other because of the quality of its library, not because I'm some child who never experienced what proceeded it. What PS2 games have you actually played?
