Probably not because the free dlc will take 2-3 months to arrive. And the journalists already have access to Splatzones and turf wars.

Review in progress is not done because of future DLCs, but because reviewers got burned on reviewing preview multiplayer copies that worked, only to have the game crap out once regular customers joined in (Battlefield 4, Halo MCC and the worst offender - Driveclub).

I'm not saying that Splatoon will be the same, but asking if reviewers will choose to be careful in this case.
