I don't even understand the lack of matchmaking in raids. Obviously it needs more cooperation, but random people can cooperate just fine as the find a raid group sites have demonstrated. People can still team up with six people they know to play it even if there is matchmaking. The only thing that the lack of matchmaking does for the raid is punish those people that don't have five other friends that play destiny...
