of all time rather than personal favorites?
no particular order:
Wii - not only innovative, but that it was backwards compatible with gamecube and could play all those games in progressive scan (something most GC owners missed out on) makes it formidable
SNES - probably the best 2d home console
PS2 - i'm not really a fan of this system. i thought the graphics were bland; but it played dvd's and ps1 games, making it a solid multimedia piece of equipment. and of course, a giant library on its own.
Dreamcast - can it ever really be said enough? just something special about it!
Saturn - I don't have first hand experience with this console, but it seems to have had superior audio and video quality to the ps1 and a great string of exclusives like Nights into Dreams and Panzer Dragoon. I would also probably put N64 on par with its greatness.
