My first impressions are great and I haven't even put the disc in the ps4 yet.
(Damn hdd is almost full, copying my kids' endless Minecraft videos off of there)
I was expecting another flimsy empty box with just a disc inside like project cars and so many others.
Yet the standard edition has a nice sleeve with the manual. Why put the manual on the outside?
Inside the first thing you see is a nice thank you from the developers with a promise of free dlc, then a full color foldout map, compendium booklet, stickers and an audio CD with the soundtrack. Some stuff to look at while installing, plus that map will be a nice reference.
Still 10 minutes of copying/deleting, then installing and downloading day 1 patches. I love gen 8.
