7th gen, either PS3/360.
Not only for the modern games, but XBLA gave me many classics from my childhood that bridged generations (Doom 1/2, Duke Nukem, Gunstar heroes, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie 1/2), etc. No console has ever given me so much classics alongside modern hits.
And those who say PS2, plenty of its greatest hits were ported over to PS3/360 as well. The 7th gen really had all gens rolled into one like no other before it.
Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
