don't know about that. a friend of mine rented a movie theatre for their son's b-day party. rentals start at about $300 then an extra charge for higher guest count. say it cost sony 1k a theatre, 75k for the entire affair. that's a fairly inexpensive publicity stunt. if sony spent that on tv spots what would they get? 2 maybe 3 30 second commerials.
