if it was my personal choice, i would have to pick the Inklings from Splatoon. not even out yet and that game is already generating thousands of fans, people lining up for the beta, and probably the biggest ad campaign Nintendo has ever pushed.
now if it was based on recognition....
and by widespread popularity....
as much as i hate to say it....
the animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's
come on, at least a few of you had to see that coming
