She was a mere 5 months old. I didn't use her the first month and rarely used her on the 2nd & 3rd month, so it pretty much died after 2+ months of usage. Well at least she died after I finished getting the Type-0 platinum. I was in the middle of playing The Last of Us, and I didn't upload my save meaning I have to restart again which sucks since I had a perfectly good run.

She didn't really show any signs of symptoms. I mean it would get a little loud when I would play a game, but I figured that was normal since it uses more power or w/e compared to using Netflix. Whenever I used Netflix, it was pretty quiet. I finished playing FFXV, went to sleep and turned it on the next day. It booted up perfectly, booted up Last of Us perfectly, the game span around in circles and the PS4 suddenly turned off. Now, it turns off after a minute.

I called Sony yesterday morning, and they were very friendly & understanding. The automated machine told me the estimated wait was less than 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting 20 minutes. Those bastards.

I told her what happened as well as telling her I tried different power cord, and she gave the okay to send it for repairs. She had a very beautiful voice, and the way she would talk to me was very wonderful. "I hope you have a lovely day Mirson, and please feel free to call again if you have any more problems" I fell in love with her; I wanted to tell her "I love you," but for all I know, she could've been a fat middle-aged woman. Anyways, she sent me a link to my e-mail, and I had to request service from that link. So pretty much, calling them is useless and a waste of time.

They told me it would take 3-5 days to get the box, then 7-10 days after they receive the PS4, and if they can't fix the PS4, they'll send me a brand new system. I haven't received the pre-paid box yet, but I heard the service center is in Texas so hopefully it won't take long since I'm also in TX.
