I played the Remaster and did not finish it, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the gameplay as adequate. It's also highly polished. The personal appeal for me, though, is not there. It's definitely nowhere near my Game of the Generation for last gen and nowhere near the top games I've played and enjoyed last generation either. The game was just not my thing and that's fine.
