It's a solid game, but I was very underwhelmed when I finished it, because of people saying it was one of the best games ever made. In my opinion, it's not even close, so, you can understand my frustration when I finished the game. It has a good plot, the gameplay is solid (but generic) and the setting is amazing (the standout of the game in my opinion) but it's... nothing special. It'd be a 8,5/10 in my opinion, I enjoyed it a lot, but I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece.
This could be... controversial, but, well, Naughty Dog has been doing TPS since... almost 10 years? I think it's time they try something new. Sure, a TPS mature-themed game is appealing to the mass market (they've proved this with Uncharted and TLOU), but, they have talent, so I'd like to see how they manage to do with another genre. And I wouldn't like to see them stagnant in the same genre.
