I feel like this is the thing I agree most with in this thread. I extremely enjoyed TLOU my first go round. I loved the story and, to an extent, the gameplay. But when I went back for a second helping, I quickly realized that the story was my main motivator for enjoying the gameplay as much as I did, and because I knew what was going to happen, it wasn't nearly as enjoyable.
I still love the game, but it's not something I can play again and again, really.
