The latest PC Evolve tourney stats show the DLC monster picked 0 times, the DLC medic picked 0 times, the DLC trapper picked 0 times, the DLC support picked 6 out of almost 40 matches, and the DLC assault was actually picked 16 out of 33 matches.
There might be some iffy aspects to the game, such as the buffs or nerfs they have given individual characters or elements, but the DLC characters are honestly not that good and most certainly are not "pay to win".
