Marketing deal with this one was terribly managed. CDPR pays the price in terms of burnt reputation and trust. Aside from the game which is apparently excellent, the fact that :
The X1 version was heavily hidden
The PS4 version was what was sent exclusively to reviewers (despite the marketing deal!!)
The PC version was demoed under the loose pretense of 'X1' footage (check the Conan Clueless Gamer Witcher 3 vid for example)
The devs said '900p' for X1, then got apparently bullied into a useless 1080p scaling mode for a tiny fraction of the game (almost exclusively in cutscenes!?)
X1 is getting further downgrades via patching
Just makes this a mess all in all.
