90s: Super Mario Bros 3 (Famicom); runner-up: C&C: Red Alert (PC); honorable mention Rockman 3 (Famicom)
00s: Diablo II (PC); Warcraft III (PC)
'10-'15: Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3); runner-up: Xenoblade Chronicles and Mario Kart 8 (Wii/Wii U) (haven't finished both though)
didn't include any sports games but during the 00's i've played a lot of NBA Live '03 to '05 in PC. then starting '06 played Fifa on PC. Then started playing Fifa 2011 on PS3 onwards.
