You realize that regardless of how much money T2 might have made selling the Exclusive DLC on the PS3, they signed a contract with Microsoft which they can't break right? |
I take it you know the contents on that contract right?
Seems like people have short term memory, when GTA 3 came out, everybody and their mama were saying that Sony paid for exclusive rights to the game and blah blah blah, I even remember reading that if you wanted to play it, you had to get a PS2 as it was exclusive to it.....6 months or so later, we have the game coming out on XBox.
Oblivion and Eternal Sonata on Xbox 360 were the same thing, as was Assassin's Creed and DMC4 on PS3.
We don't know the contract, we don't know what its specifics are, bottom line is in the Spring of '09 we could ( <---- keyword) see the same DLC that the 360 got appearing on the PS3, or we could (<---- keyword)see some new DLC that appears first on the PS3, or we could (<---- keyword) see no DLC for the PS3. We just don't know.
Not that I care anyways, it's very rare for me to pay for DLC, it has to be worth it, 10 dollars for 4 maps (CoD4), 12 dollars for 2 huge maps (Warhawk), 30 dollars for 30 extra hours of gameplay and huge side mission (Oblivion), etc...are not worth it to me. DLC should be nice and cheap because honestly it should've been included in the game. The only game I'll ever consider overpaying for DLC is GT5 if they have some real nice cars or tracks that I would have to try, but I'm hoping PD is nice enough to me....well I'm rambling now, so I'll stop.
