Tearaway has the worst soundtrack i ever heard. There is like 1 single good track and thats the one you hear when you are at the snow mointain/level.
The visuals are just boring and lazy and NOT charming at all. From an artistic perspectinve the game looks bad 90% of the time.

Most of the things in the game are repetitive. "draw me this draw me that" is overused and cool stuff like the "use different camera to find ghost" is used exactly once. Most of the time I was asking myself "what am I doing this for?"

The game treats the player like a retard. Like a "viewer" that sits there and waits for it to just end. There is no reason for Tearaway to be a game. It could very well just be a movie because you do some things but the game never understands that you already did something so never uses your knowledge. The game therefore never gives you any challenge whatsoever. You could jump right to the 50% mark of the game and it would not make a difference. And there is also no rewarding finale or whatever to be found in that game other than the  "oh god thank you its finally over" feeling.

Also camera angles changing mid-air  are pretty bad game design.

Fits Tearaway perfectly imo:
