Evidentally the people voting don't agree with you.
As for Guerrilla Games being graphics over gameplay, I can't agree with that. While their games are almost always excellent visually, they're also great examples of gameplay within their given genre.
Even Shadow Fall too me was a very solid shooter, that made great use of the touch pad as an addition for the owl and attempted to provide variety to the standard Killzone linear path of gameplay, I honestly don't get why it got so much flack at launch, I think it's a great shooter.
The only issue I can see with Shadow Fall is maybe the story isn't to everyone's liking and possibly everyone expects 60FPS from an FPS nowadays, but it was a launch game and Guerrilla had to work within time constraints to make their game.
As far as their new IP goes, it's the exciting premise which seems to have most people so amped and it seems like the most unique concept for a new IP. How many huge open world games, set in a post-civilized world, with tribes, realistic wildlife and enemy mechanical Dinos to fight do you see?
The very concept for this game seems to be exactly what many want in a new title.
Couple that with the hiring of someone that knows exactly how to handle this kind of game, from a story and overall open world setting point of view, it just builds most people's interest for this game.
Maybe it's completely different compared to what we've been told, but from what fairly reliable sources have said this seems to be what they've been shown/told about the game.
I agree Sony has other exciting studios, but Guerrilla are hardly lacking in the ability to execute quality gameplay in a game. The studio stepping outside of their normal FPS bubble is also very intriguing.
