I don't think people would care what box shows on the ad or screen. They'll just get it for whatever they own. Normal consumers are like babies and just enjoy what they have. Unlike us gaming gods, they actually have fun with what they buy. As for us, we force ourselves to try and have fun with our bias choices. Let's face it, this crap here isn't going to sell consoles.

You'd be surprised. Outside of our big gaming bubble I've heard some people say some very strange things like Dark Souls being exclusive to Playstation, San Andreas was only on PS2, I met someone who was complaining at how Nintendo announced the Wii U and still hasn't released it.

People are very uninformed.

What I meant to say was, if someone had a console already and sees an ad or commercial. Most likely they will see if it's on their console already . If it is, they wont buy another console just because the ad said its for that console, knowing the game is coming to their console too.

Also these multi-plats don't sell consoles like exclusives do. The only reason why these games being bundled with consoles are selling is because it's a free game. A free game regardless of crap value adds value to a purchse. Not a whole  lot of people are going to buy the bundle saying, "I bought Ass and got an Xbone for free." They bought  the bundle because of the two free games, it's $50 cheaper than PS4 and people thought the $350 price tag wasn't permanent. All those factors combined gave Xbone more sales. If there was no bundle, that console would still be sitting on the shelf.

You are right about dumb blonde consumers though. There are a lot of those.
