And yet contributed NOTHING to the game developer. Meaning you fed a corporation like gametop which doesn't produce anything... and contributed nothing to the developer to fund the NEXT game.
I don't think you truly understand. Gamestop siphons money out of the development process. Companies take revenue and use it to pay for their next project. Gamestop just takes it.
You spend SLIGHTLY less money (gamestop buys day old games for like $35 and sells it for $55). Thats $5 less than retail new... but instead of the publisher getting ~50% of the money they get ZERO. If used games did not exist, the publishers wouldn't need to account for the lost revenue and could reduce the overall cost of the game, implement sooner/ more frequent sales, could eliminate the practice of day one DLC, etc.
You CANNOT be someone that partakes in the used games industry and simultaneously bitch about DLC without being a hipocrite.
