Yep, being at the end of the day they can have one layout of what they're planning on showing and another if there are any major surprises.
I think they largely play to what's ready within their studios though. Maybe they've kept some stuff on the back burner in case Microsoft has any major surprises, like the whole stuff about Guerrilla's IP having an early trailer prepared last E3.
Any games that were contingencies for previous events would have extra polish by now.
Sony's stable of developers being quiet, still being a part of Worldwide studios and the fact that they've been busy for years shouldn't be ignored, which is what this article seems to be doing.
It's a lot of wishful thinking from people that don't seem to want Sony to be doing well. Surely everyone wants every platform holder to push exclusives, along with having a great stable of other titles?
