Do tell. If you know that much. I like to be entertained.

The cases are smaller because they use less plactic this way, and in turn, cost less to make. That size also makes it easier to differentiate Blu-Rays from DVDs.

I don't think you know anything about the history of Blu-Ray. You should try reading some of it. That would help you not buy into those stupid conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy? Lol please. That hardly qualifies as a conspiracy. If you wanna talk conspiracy let me know.

What he was saying, is that during the previous gen Sony had changed over to a smaller case so that on multiplatform ads, the Sony version always needed to be in front since it would not be visible behind a full sized DVD case.

Actually, if the blue ray cases were made to differentiate from DVD cases (which they were, I'm not even arguing that) then you're kind of proving our point - that the blu ray format as a whole had a smaller design to attract attention over the DVD counterparts. Which is bringing our discussion full circle lol. The design makes the cases more prominent in ad space. More visible.

"The cases are smaller because they use less plastic"

Well they certainly aren't smaller because they use more plastic.

And here you go and take things out of context to adjust them to fit your narrative. The fact that you quoted me this way, at the end of your comment, makes it obvious your one kid I shouldn't bother myself with.
