If they plan on blocking used sales. Wich is probably against the law in a few places, they should have at least gone digital only. Considering its an MMO it's not like they would lose sales to those who can't get online.

As far as I'm aware, at least in my country, a reseller can become responsible for the sales. So in some odd way if you were to sell a game to me and I wasn't happy with it or it didn't work properly I could hold you directly liable lol. There are some products that cannot be resold legally after being initially sold, especially if qualifications for said product has changed, like childrens cars seats, or pretty much any sort of safety equipment of any kind or technically anything sold without the original safety manual, consoles, games, TV's, stereos or anything like that lol.
