Mobile gaming can never be taken as a serious gaming future in my opinion because you can't get a console-like game experience on a mobile app/game (or at least not that i'm aware of). Most of them are just endless runners or mainly the same thing/copies of other games. I can't see myself playing a mobile game for hours straight like I could a console game, maybe that's just me though.
I understand that games like GTA have been ported to mobile, but those are just games that were ported, not build from the ground up for a mobile. Plus, is a developer really going to take the effort to actually develop a very well made game and put those resources into it? Or are most of them just going to make a cheap game to develop for mobile and get profits off of that.
