Oh yeah Square def screwed up hard, i think that effected the entire genre, not good when the leader falters so badly it doesnt put faint in much

I hope they do make a comeback, but with game development getting not cheaper i dont see it happening, no at PS2 levels, maybe PS2 

I agree.  Most RPGs this gen sucked, even compared to some of the weakest RPGs in a previous gen.  Seeing comments of how good games like Star Ocean the Last Hope and at one time seeing some one in this very forum state it's their favorite RPG really makes me doubt quality of a game like Lost Odyssey.  I've never played it, but people over here praising garbage, Lost Odyssey might be a complete joke to quality released in past gens.  People can't see the flaws in glaring flaws in FF10 so I wouldnt be surprised.

standards drop. I remember playing FF13 around the same time Grandia 1 had went on the PSN classics. I never played the game before so i was wondering why it was so good and why it was so much better than FF13
