Well, maybe in the UK, the US they basically attach the deplorable to an actually vital bill, which ends up scuttling the bill, which makes it get rewritten and someone adds yet another shitty sub-section, which ends up scuttling it etc...

And THAT is how you grind the American Government to a screeching halt.

As a US citizen my post actually reflected how I see our government passes bills lol. For instance, the SOPA act. Wound up voting no on it only for some of the core principals to pop up later and I believe get passed because the general public was not well informed.
