Backing down on the AR segment already eh?
They spoke about AR and mentioned there will be gaming applications. They speak about VR now and about gaming applications.
Honestly seems to me like they're too afraid to back their own horse so they're prepared to abandon it on the fly if VR proves more popular (which it will out the gate).
This begs the question though - Microsoft, why don't you just combine the two?
Either way I'm not surprised by this. I'm also not surprised that they're promising hopes and dreams and the moon on this when they haven't really delivered on any of these technological advancements over the past 6 or 7 years. When was kinect released, anyway?
