Do you even know what Grandia 2 is? You may be confusing it with the original. Grandia 2 is a fully 3D game, not a sprite based one. 

An HD remake would be more akin to the remaining PS2 era HD remakes. FF7 is PS1.

I know what Grandia 2 is as I have finished it on PC ages ago.

What I meant is it getting a 'HD makeover' like FF7 got for PC; simply upscaling the resolution and fixing some textures. So essentially the same game graphically and mechanically.

I hope it is more than just that.
