Most titles he's developed within the past 10 years have been garbage. Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Dracula X Chronicles were good, yet there's garbage like Order of Ecclesia, Curse of Darkness, Nano Breaker, Order of Shadows, Harmony of Despair, and Judgement. He's been the director of just as many bad games as good, and it wasn't like a mixture of good and bad. Once the garbage games started rolling out they kept coming with one or two in between the long lineup of trash. Why do you think we haven't seen anything from him from so long before his departure from Konami. Castlevania fans should be grateful Mercury Steam pitched the cancelled Lords of Shadow as a reboot to the series. Mercury Steam actually brought us some good games.

Everyone should await this announcement with extreme skepticism.

these games were limited because they were on handhelds, have you ever played Symphony of the Night? no?

Only two games on that list are handheld, one of the handhelds, the DS is more powerful than the PSX which SotN was released on.  The other four games were on consoles, PS2, Wii, PS360.
