This is bad news for Sony.
Sure, as some have pointed out that it will help boost hardware sales on the system. But Sony is also very active in developing exclusive games also, and this will cut right into their profits considering their 1st party games sell well.
I wonder if this will cause them to change their goal on doubling down (time, money, resources) in the games department, If they are unable to close this exploit.
Could it also hurt their chances with third party developers in securing future exclusive third party games, since they would see reduced revenue from people not buying the game.
