Well, they're actual figures, unlock a load of content adding up all the games and are priced well, so I don't see much of an issue here.

I think the only amiibo's that could be a rip-off are Splatoon amiibos, as they only really contribute to Splatoon in a semi-major way, but even then quite a lot of content is given.
