I took a semester at the University of Wollongong back in 2000. Perfect timing with the Olympics.
I loved it. The pace is so much more relaxed that in the US. Here there are clocks on every wall, in every room, and everyone is always checking the time. Not there....
I might have stayed if it wasn't for my girlfriend(now wife) waiting for me.
And yes I had an incident where a spider the size of my foot jumped on my head in the bathroom. But in his defense it was dark and he scurried away once he realized what I was.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
