It's nice to iron out the parts of the game that makes things more tedious. Examples for me include weight carry limits in the Elder Scrolls games, which serve mostly to make the game dull. |
I can agree on this, I do dislike the weight system in Skyrim for example and I always tend to mod it via one of the workshop or nexus mods, not removing it completely but making it so I can carry more or make the weight spells/potions last a lot longer.
I usually had a slightly hard time installing certain mods into directories years ago but now we've got mod managers like Nexus and other venues like Steam workshop that makes installing mods a complete breeze.
I'd probably say my most modded game would be Skyrim but L4D2 comes in a close second with it having reskins, textures and map mods (I like my Resident Evil map/skins).
I should have also mentioned that I mostly mod/tweak my games due to wanting to get just the right experience for having fun, sometimes I;ll download the silly zany goofy mods but I do so rarely and instead focus more on performance/textures mod/tweaks.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
