Combat animations are much smoother, signs and alchemy are much more useful than they were in Witcher 2, there are now two different variants of each sign, there are now different armor types (similar to other RPG's) that are useful for different skill builds, the crossbow has been added which is useful for fighting certain monsters, especially when underwater. The only gameplay change I'm unsure of is the limit on skill slots, you can only have 12 different skills equiiped at once. I'll have to see how that works out for myself, hopefully 12 slots isn't too limiting.


Big game changer is you dont have to medidate to use potions in witcher 3.
