Like I said, I believe "normal" is limited by "non-addictive" in this case. Just like with anything else that is chemically stimulating: alcohol usage, drug usage, sexual activity, gambling, etc, etc. For me I'd say I spend an average of 15 minutes a day (some days not at all) looking at porn. I also probably have sex once a week or every other week with the same person. In addition to that I go to a prestigious university as a physics major, have a multiple jobs, frequent these (and other) forums, go camping with friends often, am part of multiple clubs, have drinks (at home) with friends, so on and so on. My life is pretty balanced and a happy one. Of course I wouldn't make a good control as I am not heterosexual and I have a mental disorder. But I believe normal in this context is normal in the sense of the individual's activities and expectations (not an aggregate of all individuals) with respect to their tolerance to addiction. It would be very hard to make a normal distribution which means anything significant for a large diverse population that we see in the modern world.
