It's also worth noting that not all teams score a lot in La Liga. Only Madrid and Barca do that because they have the best forwards in the world. For example, Atletico Madrid (3rd) have 67 goals and City (probably 3rd after Arsenal play their 2 games) have 77. When you also compare scoring ratios of Ronaldo/Messi and Barca/Madrid in the Champions league it's very similar to their ratios in La Liga.
