I could just throw a blanket over it, and that would probably do it, but I am not really into forcing something to break. It has worked flawlessly for me so far, so even though MS has screwed so many people, I am not one of them. It does what it was sold to me to do.
I plan on buying a new one if they ever make one that is quiet, and doesn't have reliability issues. That's the only real beef I have with it at the moment. It sounds like a jet engine in my living room.
Even if that imaginary 360 came out, I would still play the game on the PS3, for the same reason I play The Orange Box on the 360.
I have spent a lot of money to not need to worry about console wars. I mine as well take advantage of it :)
