PS Vita is outselling Wii U - though Wii U is getting more love from it's developer

Vita is just another victim of Nintendomination in handhelds. Anyone remember the Atari Lynx, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Gamegear, Sega Nomad, Gizmondo?

At least the Wii U will get a successor, Sony is done with the HH market thanks to the Vita.

Sony is done with the handheld market because they are smart and know that handhelds are dying, the writing is on the wall. Out surviving someone other from the pest isnt healing you.

I think u and others are getting a little carried away with the "handhelds are dying" bandwagon.

4th+5th+6th gen Nintendo handhelds (1989-2007)

Hardware-200.20 million, Software-878.52 million

Per generation, that is about 67 & 290 million repectively or roughly what 3DS is on track to sell with Vita going on to do similar to what Nintendo's competitors were able to go during those generations.

DS+PSP gave us a false sense of what handhelds should do in a single generation and sales have normalized.
