Update: just finished it.
Honestly. It picked up slightly. Ending left a lot to be desired.
Cover system seems aged and basic. But I didn't have many game breaking issues with it.
Gameplay gets very boring at times. The game throws endless waves of minions at you and it just seems so, filler like. The quick team events are dreadfully dull.
"Pick up this piece of paper with triangle" "1 button enemy takedown" "open this door here"
It's a shame. So much potential with the game. The only good QTE are the half breed fights requiring dodging and striking. But so few and far between.
And for the life of me I can't understand why there is no multiplayer. Stupid decision. I have no problem with single player only games but with a 5 hour campaign and doesnt scream replayable they should have added in online multiplayer.
Over after finishing it I score it a 6/10
The story actually is good. Not great. But good. Characters well designed. Visuals pick up a lot throughout.
But great visuals can't carry this mediocre game much. It's a look and don't touch kind of game.
Disappointed.
However I have hope for Ready at Dawn and give them this benefit of the doubt since it is their first real AAA game.
