I can bring up E3 2013 if I feel like it. Lot of mud-slinging on Sonys part this gen so far. Announcing something on halo 5 day is being sore winner...not like this race is gonna be close or anything lol. Sony literally just has to manufacture these things and it sells itself.

Bold is more reminisent of good ol American business tactics. Had the shoe been on the other foot, MS would most surely be criticized for this (they were back in the early 7th gen when PS3 was at its worst). But with Sony its chill.

You are salty.

On topic:

Personally I don't see the problem. 101 business tactics, that is all.

I suppose. Just think its funny that the fans are now ok with Sony adopting aggressive American business tactics (basically everything fans hated MS on doing last gen). Teh irony.

i've spoken out against the business tatics i find shitty,... console exclusive content and timed exclusive content. i'm not as loud about things like the destiny dlc because today i'm the "benefactor" but i find this just as shitty today as i did when i was complaining about CoD timed-exclusive dlc for the 360.  it's shit of a 3rd party publisher handle multiplates with a pay for preferential treatment model.

strategically planning the data of an announcement to maximize impact, however, is not mud-slinging and, imo, a fine business stategy.   this is no different then nintendo deciding to launch mario kart wii the same day as GTA IV.
