Which game will sell better, Splatoon or Xenoblade Chronicles X?

Have you read some if the previews? Even big gaming sites praised the game to heaven and back. Surely a 9+ game.

previews are often positive, that doesn't really mean anything.  The praise for this game has hardly been what I would call "to heaven and back".  You see a lot of descriptions like it was fun to play, and it's cute, stuff like that in previews.  However, I see this game getting savaged in reviews because it is primarily geared towards online play and Nintendo has obviously gimped its online features.  No voice chat, only 4v4, this is a game that will lose its fun factor rather quickly, at least from what I can see.  It doesn't seem to have a huge amount of content.  I don't see it cracking 8 on the meta, but we obviously see that game differently, so we will see what happens when it launches.
