Thats not a meaningful statement. 

Dr. Vita is saying that there are still game releases and (some owners) are still enjoying the system and looking forward to whats coming, for them its alive. The Wii in 2012 was dead, or the DS in 2013, PSP post 2010 etc...

Commercially it may be dead  (I'd argue <20k gobally is dead, 40k-50 is just poor)
