That is completely incorrect.  His finger is used to open Skype at 1:30 while his head is used to move the pointer around.  

Yes, I see that now. Seems a tad complicated to use your head as a pointer and then your hand to interact. It means you can't interact with an object that's on the periphery of the field of vision, because you have to be looking directly at what you want to interact with. But as mentioned by people who have used the demo, the field of view is rather small, so there isn't much periphery to speak of.
