As some of you may or may not know, I am currently on a three month student trip in France. Well, my host family decided that take me to Italy today. We ended up spending the day in Turin (about 1 1/2 hours away from where I am staying). It was very nice! It was weird being in a place where I didn't understand the local language (I can't speak any Italian), but luckily my host family has some knowledge. We went to the Egyptian museum, ate Italian pizza and ice cream, and took the train to look around other parts of Italy. We also did a tour around the city. Overall, I would say it was a very nice experience! I hope that I will eventually be able to experience Italy more in depth in the future.

I went there last year, the embalmed bodies were pretty cool. Also had great ice cream there.
I've been to far better cities and places in Italy though. :p

Well, we only had one day, so we went to a city that was close to us.
