the first example is just plain immature if it's in the presence of a woman, if it's just guy talk it's not that big of a deal
the second example is stupid, unless it's just a silly joke. i think these days in households where both people have to work, you take on tasks that might be outside of traditional roles. a husband may do laundry or cook dinners if the wife has to work later. it's just a fact of life these days. i would love for my wife to be a stay at home, but it's just not in the cards therefore i cook virtually all meals, she does the laundry, and we share on doing the dishes. sometimes when i mention to older folks that i cook they get a big kick out of it, but we live in a different time where we have to work more hours for less money thanks to the government
