"Should they be allowed?"
Who's going to stop them? Are we going to have PC police, actively beating down doors of people who make comments/jokes etc.. that others disapprove of? No, we won't. The answer is, you don't have to like them, but there's not a thing you can do about it. Even IF people didn't have the right to speak their minds, they'd still do it. Because you cannot stop free thought, free speech. Actual pioneers in the movement, sacrificed far more than most of us will ever be required to sacrifice, in order to support all of our ability to speak freely. It will never be something a single person or entity can police.
You may not like what someone else said, but just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you have the right, the authority, or the power to stop it.
