That's Uncharted, not God of War, plus Uncharted 4 had all of the issues with Amy Hennig and the game having to be essentially restarted.

All of Santa Monica's issues were related to the other IP, Barlog's project hasn't had anything like that reported about it. By August this year the next God of War is probably a good 2 years in the making, assuming that Barlog and co didn't start working on it until he returned in August 2013.

Reality is none of us really knows, you can believe that it's not going to happen, I think it will.

I've seen umpteen people that have made comments saying that they think it won't happen, you're not telling me anything I haven't read from many others before buddy. Imagine how shocked you'll be when we see a teaser for the game at E3, with the words "coming early 2016" at the end of the trailer. ;)

When Amy Henning was attached to Uncharted 4 the game wsa slated for fall 2015, so 4 years. And no, in no way was the game restarted, what are you talking about?

Don't get me wrong, I would love such an announcement, but I don't see how you can believe it will happen ..

Amy left in early March http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/03/05/uncharted-ps4-writer-amy-hennig-leaves-naughty-dog

We didn't see a release year until E3.

Amy was heading up the project, there were issues, see here: http://www.gamesradar.com/could-uncharted-4-be-trouble-signs-point-yes/

The game was originally announced at the PS4 launch event in 2013, then all the issues happened at the studio, usually Uncharted gets announced and it's out by the following year, which is what's happened with every other Uncharted game.

Amy was running development, then all of that changed.

None of this stuff has happened with God of War.
