Shop listings for expansions to Lego Dimensions seem to confirm that there is such a thing as Lego Portal, and a Lego Chell minifigure.
There’s no sign that Valve are interested in making a proper Portal 3, but there is now strong evidence that the original games are going to be recreated in Lego form.
Lego Dimensions was announced last month as Lego’s equivalent to Skylanders and Disney Infinity: an expandable co-op game where you buy new toys, which are then scanned in and allow you to play with new characters and levels.
The one level pack that has already been announced is for Back To The Future, which may seem a bit odd except there is already a Lego toy set based on the film – which was initially created by and voted on by fans as part of the Lego Ideas programme.
The cake is not a lie?An idea that previously got the minimum number of votes necessary to become a set, but wasn’t selected by Lego to become a toy, was Valve’s first person puzzle classic Portal… but now it looks like it’s getting both some toys and a game tie-in.
Product listings found within the Walmart computer system clearly list a level pack for not only Portal, but also The Simpsons. Additional team packs based on Jurassic World and Scooby-Doo were also discovered by fan siteBrick Inquirer, as well as fun packs for Lego’s own Chima line of toys.
A level pack includes one minifigure, two vehicles, and one new level, and costs £28.56. Team packs have two minifigures and two vehicles for £29.99, and fun packs have one minifigure and one vehicle for £14.99.
